Refunds & Cancellations Policy

Scope

This policy applies to space rental bookings made on www.rent.shortfundly.com operated by SM Smartygen Media Networks Private Limited (“Shortfundly”, “we”, “our”, “us”). Shortfundly Rent is a marketplace that facilitates bookings between Hosts and renters. Shortfundly is not the owner or manager of listed properties.

Host-specific cancellation terms

• Cancellation and refund rules for a booking vary by Host and are displayed at the time of booking. Those listing-specific terms form part of your booking.
• Before you confirm payment, review the cancellation window, any non-refundable amounts, and other conditions shown for that listing.
• If a Host updates their cancellation rules, the terms shown for your confirmed booking remain the reference for that booking unless otherwise required by law.

Payments

• All booking payments must be made through the Site's payment system. Direct off-platform payments are not allowed.
• Platform fees that apply in the payment flow are described on our Pricing & fees page.

When refunds may be considered

• In line with the Host cancellation policy shown at booking (for example, if you cancel within an allowed window).
• Duplicate charges for the same booking, subject to verification.
• Technical failure on our side that prevents a confirmed booking from being recorded after successful payment, after reasonable troubleshooting.
• Unauthorized transactions, subject to account verification and investigation.

We do not invent fixed day-based refund windows that apply to every listing. Always rely on the terms shown for your specific booking.

We may decline or reverse refunds if misuse, excessive chargebacks, or policy abuse is suspected. See our Terms of Use for more details.
